After a long time, Dustfinger sends Farid into a forest filled with night terrors and predators... But someone else is hunting him, waiting for the right moment. Farid comes face to face with his fiercest enemy-Basta, the mad dog-and escape seems impossible.
Will he survive? Will he be saved?
I tried to stay true to the characters, Cornelia Funke's style, and keep the tension high.
