OF ENGLISH ORIGIN, the name Willow carried meanings of beauty, elegance, and grace, along with the symbolism of the willow tree ━━━━ a representation of strength, flexibility, and renewal. To Belly, Willow was a story whispered in her ear - not one of those that spark fear and steal sleep, but one of magic, sweetness, and adventure, the kind that sends the mind wandering through thousands of creatures scattered across the vastness of the universe.
Susannah would speak of the hundreds of paintings Willow had created during the months in Cousins. Jeremiah, on the other hand, would say she was the most beautiful girl in the world ━━━━ and that it would be a dream if Belly could one day meet her.
