‎Kai, a bisexual college student, has always loved Ethan—his best friend and eventually his boyfriend for a short while. For a fleeting moment, they shared something real, something raw. But Ethan is straight… or at least he says so. Deep inside, Ethan cares too much, maybe even loves Kai in a way he can’t name.

‎They break up because Ethan cannot fight who he is—or what the world expects him to be. Still, both of them know one thing: it was always each other, but never truly “them.”

‎The story will explore heartbreak, longing, and the cruel irony of love that feels right but is deemed “wrong.” With lines that stab like confessions never meant to be heard.
