The Bucephalus, A ship like no other, and the flagship of the Emperor himself. It was believed lost after the Horus Heresy and for millennia it was mourned alongside its sister ship, the Imperator Somnium. However, Tybalus Talorn shield captain of the Emissaries Imperatus received a vision from his liege. A vision that showed the Bucephalus alive and well. That day the Reclaimer Crusade began. But will they be successful? Each member brings their own trials and tribulations. The Lions of Dorn, an Astartes chapter that saw great losses on Demeter and view this crusade as the closing act of their saga. The engines of Legio Aquila's first maniple, half of whom view this crusade as a farce and want nothing more than to be rid of it. The Cadian 7th, the Shadowswords, guardsmen who are an unbreakable bulwark of armor and faith. The forces of Archmagos Beta-3-Mu, representatives of the Adeptus Mechanicus. And the captains of the Navis Imperialis of which a viscous sibling rivalry is taking place between Captains Jennifer and Nelson Moore. All of this is not even considering the forces of the chaos warband, the Babel's Pupils and the Eldar force from craftworl Biel-tan. However even these heretics and xenos are not free of turmoil.

The Patriot I: The Awoken by BerryButterfly11
49 parts Complete
A retired pilot had thought she'd seen it all, until she's asked to become part of the first crew for a spaceship destined to land on a new planet. ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ Genevieve Autumn considered herself retired. She had served her time in the Air Force as a pilot, and in the Army as an officer. At least, she considered herself retired until she found herself on board the Patriot I, one of the first two spaceships to ever leave Earth. The Patriot I is a smaller, weaponized ship with a tough crew to escort the Pioneer, a ship full of humans meant to colonize the far-away planet Z-031. The main issue is that Z-031 is thousands of years away. Even with Earth's advanced technology, it will take three hundred years to arrive. The Pioneer is a Generational Ship, meant to survive in flight for so long. The Patriot is not. The crew will have to be cryogenically-frozen within the ship, asleep in flight for three centuries. As soon as Genevieve opens her eyes after centuries of being asleep, everything goes wrong. The crew remains asleep. The ship doesn't have enough power to sustain them. Her mind is turning against her with the side-effects of the cryogenic-freezing sleep. Lastly, there are enemies lurking just outside the hull of her ship. Genevieve is losing track of what is happening, but what she knows for sure is that none of it is what she signed up for. (This novel is under revision as of 2-5-19 up until I feel the true motivation to scrub through most of my older work. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most. [Sequel to 'Imperium'] Following the successful defense of Alamarri and the sudden withdrawal of Hepharion's Chaos Marines, Caius returned to Macragge in time to see the return of his Primarch and receive a new mission from his Captain: find Hepharion and bring him down, no matter the cost, and chase down and secure the remains of the ancient Titan project. At first, resources seem scarce with the Black Crusade taking much of the attention and firepower of the Ultramarines. However, help comes in an unexpected form when an Inquisitor's acolyte appears with an unexpected offer for the men of the Twentieth. Across the stars, Bahad is called before the Council of Farseers of his Craftworld and desperately pleads his case for his alliance with Caius and his hunt for Hepharion. However, this falls on deaf ears when the Craftworld, concerned about his continued association with the Imperium, orders him into a temporary arrest to await further judgment. While in isolation, plagued by his visions of what shall happen without his involvement, he, too, receives an unexpected visitor: a Harlequin Solitaire with a keen interest on seeing him reunited with his Ultramarine. As the two friends journey forth, their paths lead them to one another once again and to the planet of Cosperan, home to a Black Templar Crusade and the most recent spot where Hepharion's Warband was spotted. --- STORIES IN THE SERIES: 0. The Forge of Unity (Book 1)

105 parts Ongoing Mature

Book 1 In the age of the Great Crusade, when the Emperor's light sought to pierce the endless dark, there was one who rose among the stars with a vision of unity and strength. He was Gaius Aurelius Regulus, the Primarch of the Second Legion, the Argent Eagles, forged by fate to bring order to chaos and peace to the shattered realms of Man. His was the voice of reason amid the clamor of war, his blade the instrument of Imperial justice. From the ashes of fractured worlds, he wove alliances; from the ruins of defiance, he built empires. Yet even as his conquests brought glory to the Imperium, shadows gathered around him. For in the Imperium of Man, loyalty is both a virtue and a burden, and the price of unity is often paid in blood. As the tides of betrayal and ambition rise, Regulus must confront the eternal question: does the dream of order justify the cost of sacrifice? In the crucible of war, his Legion will stand as a testament to the indomitable will of humanity-or as a warning to those who would place hope in fragile bonds of trust. So begins the tale of the Second Legion: warriors, builders, and unifiers, born to soar above the stars as Argent Eagles. Their triumphs are written in fire, their legacy etched in shadow. For in the grim darkness of the 31st Millennium, even the noblest ideals can be shattered by the unyielding march of fate.
