Member of the US U17 team at the age of fourteen, and winning the U20 World Cup at just sixteen. Then, just under a year later, received her first start on the senior team just a week after her seventeenth birthday. At the same time, Arsenal had extended the offer of bringing her in on a contract.
Her future was falling into place, allowing her to finally ease the financial pressure her soccer career has placed on her mother. Everything seemed to be going her way.
