MOKA INOUE was left unsupervised as a child, growing up to have absolutely no filter and giving herself the freedom to explore the world however she wanted since she was young. One day she lost herself in the place that unironically found her and welcomed her the most: the circus. There, she learned to entertain people and created a mask to hide who she truly was. She lived for deception, tricks, and exposure──always focused on entertaining the audience, while also using it for her own entertainment.

SUNATO BANDA was raised in a very dysfunctional household where nothing ever seemed to work properly. That went on until he began to develop "psychopathic" tendencies. He was nothing less than a madman, a murderer, a freak. He had killed four girls and was about to be executed for his crimes, until he was teleported to the Borderlands: a place with deadly games where he could act as he pleased, and where he met a girl considered just as crazy as him.

The Borderlands made them be able to continue their acts──maybe not in the way they expected, but at least it worked.
