Carmen Rocca barely ever knows the meaning of the word freedom. Since childhood she had been told that the Red Walls were what kept everything bad out. The Accipens Militia were her friends and protectors there to be sure the nation ran well and sufficiently.

It has been two years since Carmen's home was attacked due to the new program called the Zero Project where the people that were once Americans and descendants of those were to be eliminated.

History repeats itself centuries later as experiments go wrong and the world inside the walls seems to crumble. Carmen and her fellow refugees plan to get out and get help for the nation, before it is too late.
