The rain hadn't stopped in three days. Seoul looked blurred, like a painting smeared with water, neon lights bleeding across the glass windows of the café where Yeonjun sat. His hands trembled around his coffee cup, not from the cold, but from the phantom weight pressing on his chest.

He saw her again.

The girl who should not exist.

She stood at the edge of the crosswalk across the street, black hair damp against her pale cheeks, her eyes glowing faintly under the streetlamp. Her silhouette wavered, half-flesh, half-smoke. A shadow with a heartbeat.

Yeonjun pushed back his chair, the lyrics of his own obsession whispering inside him.

"You can be my ghost girl... you can take my soul, girl."

When he reached the street, she was gone. Only the faint chill remained, seeping into his skin.
