protogy- billie and finneas story by Billie_storys
35 parts Ongoing
Story Outline: Y/N is 15, a really promising, creative kid who's been invited to help Billie and Finneas with music - maybe she's co-writing, singing backup, or just hanging around the studio learning and helping. From early on, Finneas and Billie notice that Y/N gets really easily distracted: like, she'll lose track mid-sentence, zone out when she's supposed to be recording something, doodle instead of focusing - but she's brilliant when she locks in. Finneas starts gently wondering if it's ADHD, but neither of them wants to assume anything without being sure. Subtle signs about her home life: Y/N always seems extra hungry, like scarfing down snacks whenever they're around. She shows up in clothes that are a little worn-out or too small, but tries to style them so it's not obvious. She always tries to pay for her own coffee/lunch even though she clearly can't really afford it. She never really invites them to her house or talks about her parents much - always brushing off questions. Finneas and Billie both start quietly noticing these things but aren't sure if it's their place to bring it up. Maybe Billie feels it in her gut first (because Billie seems to have really good emotional intuition) and Finneas is more careful, wanting to be respectful and not overstep. slip about life being "chaotic" or "loud" at home, or "money being weird." Finneas and Billie offer her warmth and safety, not pushing, just letting her know she's important and loved no matter what.
