In a world overrun by a relentless horde of undead, a diverse and surreal group of survivors emerges, each born from ordinary objects imbued with extraordinary qualities. From the shimmer of tidal glass to the glow of broken CRT monitors, the survivors are both bizarre and beautiful, each carrying unique weapons, abilities, and personalities that reflect their origins.
The story follows twenty-eight-or eventually thirty-characters as they navigate a flooded, neon-lit harbor, weaving chaos, strategy, and emotion into a living battlefield. Their individual quirks-tides, pastel bubbles, ink dragons, glitching illusions, refracted light, carnival chaos, and digital empathy-combine to form a synchronized and almost musical defense against the shambling horde.
Themes:
Survival in Chaos: The undead apocalypse is relentless, forcing characters to adapt and find synergy in their diversity.
Emotion as Power: Characters' feelings, memories, and quirks are tangible forces, affecting tides, illusions, light, and energy.
Connection & Collaboration: Despite fractured origins and personal quirks, the survivors' combined abilities demonstrate that unity-emotional, strategic, and aesthetic-can bend even the most chaotic circumstances.
Surrealism & Shimmercore: The story thrives on visual and conceptual contrast: pastel calm versus glitchcore chaos, carnival joy against contaminationcore horror, and ephemeral beauty in a destructive world.
