To say that Adele had questionable taste in men would be an understatement, seeing that, in the past, all her boyfriends could easily fit into the 'loser' category. Chance Bender had been no different, in fact he was the worst of all and, of course, the one that she had fallen for the hardest. Three years after leaving him, Adele is living a good life and, for the first time in her life, dating a 'nice' guy. The the bottom of her new-found life drops with a twist of fate that lays Chance directly into her world once more. On the surface, he's still the charming, vivacious boy who Adele fell in love with so long ago, but there is now a subtle darkness to him. Chance has changed--the question is if it's for the good or bad...and if Adele is willing to, for the lack of a better phrase, give him a second 'chance'

The fall had been a big mood ring for Oskar. Breaking the school rules he gets almost expelled from school, but it brings him and Aaron together for the first time in 2 years. Oskar kisses 2 times Aaron, but he doesn't seem to reciprocate his feelings, especially that he's hetero and has a girlfriend. Oskar finds new friends and gets popular for the first time, and everybody starts noticing him, which was one of the biggest dreams for Oskar. However, his new friends turned to be fake, allowing Oskar to get beaten to death. Even though Aaron previously seemed to not care for Oskar, he was the only one who visited Oskar in the hospital every day. After spending the whole winter in hospital, Aaron finally comes out of the hospital and rejoins his friends in school. All eyes in school will be once again turned on a 15-years old boy. Is he ready to confront his fake friends who let him be beaten in a conspiracy. Will he graduate the junior high school having so many setbacks on his head? Will he forgive Aaron eventually? Is Aaron going to reciprocate Oskar's feelings? It's all written in the stars...The last part of my trilogy "Something Like Summer"
