To say that Adele had questionable taste in men would be an understatement, seeing that, in the past, all her boyfriends could easily fit into the 'loser' category. Chance Bender had been no different, in fact he was the worst of all and, of course, the one that she had fallen for the hardest. Three years after leaving him, Adele is living a good life and, for the first time in her life, dating a 'nice' guy. The the bottom of her new-found life drops with a twist of fate that lays Chance directly into her world once more. On the surface, he's still the charming, vivacious boy who Adele fell in love with so long ago, but there is now a subtle darkness to him.
