She held up two pieces of paper.
"In here, uh... 'You will die' is written in both pieces of paper. But... the enemy troop lies to the captive. One of the two says 'you will live,' so pick 'you will live,' then I'll let you live." Emily turns to Kyle. "Which one do you choose?" she asks. She holds out two pieces of paper in front of his face, waiting for his response.
"When I find the answer, can I call you?" The audience started to clap, some shouting things like "date!" and "you suit each other!" and "what the hell just happened?”
