Whiteout

When twenty-four-year-old Gillian Lambert joins her friends for a winter retreat in the mountains, she imagines cozy nights and carefree days on the slopes. The rustic lodge feels charming, though its innkeeper, Arthur, lingers in the background-quiet, awkward, and difficult to read. One evening, Gillian catches him watching her from across the firelight. Her friends laugh it off as nothing. She isn't so sure.

When a massive storm sweeps in, the group decides to leave early. Gillian lingers behind-and when her car won't start, she finds herself trapped as the snow piles higher, the roads vanish, and the outside world disappears.

Alone in the silent lodge with Arthur, Gillian senses something shifting. His calm politeness feels too careful. His gaze lingers a moment too long. Isolated and cut off, she can't tell if he's her reluctant savior... or something far more dangerous.
