Freshly adopted from the foster system, she's an expert in survival, not suburbia. As she prepares to walk the unfamiliar halls of Windy Falls High, she faces a new kind of challenge: trading her grit for grace and figuring out how to belong to a world she's only ever seen from the outside, all without losing the girl she was forced to become.
