Echoes of Yesterday

Nezyhea Fuentabilla has spent her entire teenage years single until she graduated in college. She thinks that being in a relationship was just a distraction for a woman like her who is full of dreams driven by her career. She doesn't see herself being in a relationship just like how everybody around her is feeling the love from the other person. For her, it was a waste of time, a waste of effort, a waste of money.

She doesn't understand how everybody arounds her was crazy for love. As for her love doesn't save you-it distracts you and causes destruction to your life. Being broken by love doesn't save you, it destroys you-piece by piece, bit by bit until you lose yourself. And when you lose yourself to love, healing becomes your responsibility.

She crosses paths to a man who hides an emotional pain, trauma, and betrayal yet behind his lingering smiles and charm is when her world starts to change. Betrayed by his scarred relationship from the past, Nezyhea became someone he could rely on and could share his vulnerabilities with. She became her healer, her comfort-projecting the love he doesn't experience from his past. And suddenly he became the whole world for her where feelings of unfamiliar emotions were raw and true.

In an instant she became his world but did he? The echoes of yesterday's haunted him, forcing him to confront the shadows of his past. Will they navigate this journey together and journey towards his healing by giving her love for him, will trust be the foundation of their relationship where he is still haunted by yesterday's pain of will they let the echoes of yesterday's bind them where the love they have shared will be held as they grew apart where healing starts within themselves.
