Maddie was a orphan, she had a foster home that was alright enough to let her go to school. She definitely had a back story, her mother died of cancer, it left her dad depressed, he killed himself, and it was just her. Her mom told her before she was diagnosed that her dad wasn't really her dad, she had another. That made her believe that one day, he might just find her and love her just like her mother, but that's very unlikely. Unlike most cliché orphan stories, she wasn't abused, bullied, etc. She spent her day listening to music and daydreaming the impossible. She felt like one day she might find someone that will love her as much as she loved her mother, like a new family, she thought that they would find her and love her... she was right
