Lydia always knew her mother was murdered because she refused to love him. Lydia's stepmother is aware of this and locks Lydia in the basement. (This is a Loki fanfiction, set in the time frame of Thor: The Dark World.) Elspeth Montgomery is an Asgardian from a poor family. She's very shy and quiet, and rarely ever gets tough.
