Sarah Willoughby, a daughter of Hades, who had survived the Salem Witch Trials and so much more had spent three centuries with Lady Artemis. For a Demigod of her status, she's lived a relatively happy, peaceful life save for three terrible occasions. Each beginning due to some God or Goddess creating a terrible mess. Each time, Sarah found herself torn from her home and forced to clean up the mess but she would always return to her happy life at Lady Artemis' side.

Now, with ancient beings stirring and the threat of war looming over her world, Sarah's peaceful existence is shattered yet again. Although, she is a far cry from being at the centre of it, the sword of Damocles still swings precariously over her head. For she is a hero that had been happy for far too long. Perhaps after three centuries of living a relatively joyful life for a Demigod, it's time for Sarah Willoughby to sacrifice something.
