The story starts after Ash returns from his Alolan Journey. He spends a few days at home until suddenly he has a vision of a cloaked figure calling him to train at Mt.Silver. He heeds the call. In this timeline, almost all the events that happened in the anime still happen except, removing a couple of Ash's unnovan Pokémon, he wins the Kalos league, and he doesn't release Greninja.
