Bound by Starlight

Esther never belonged within the stone walls of the Telmarine castle. She clung to whispered stories of Narnians. Creatures long thought to be extinct, eradicated from history by Telmarines. But on the night soldiers storm into her home, her mother's sacrifice forces her to flee deep into the forbidden forest, carrying nothing but a necklace and a haunting promise: "They'll know who you are."

Alone, grieving, and on the run, Esther stumbles upon the truth: the Narnians are alive, and they know her father, a once-fierce warrior whose blood runs in her veins. Taken in by Trufflehunter, Trumpkin, and Nikabrik, Esther learns to survive, fight, and embrace the part of her that was never Telmarine at all.

Her path collides with Prince Caspian's rebellion and the return of the Pevensies. Kings and Queens of Old, summoned back by Susan's Horn. Among them is Edmund, a witty and determined young man, whose loyalty both infuriates and intrigues her. As war erupts, Esther must decide where her loyalties lie: with the world that raised her, or the blood of a warrior that runs through her veins.

But her story doesn't end with victory at Aslan's How. When she boards the Dawn Treader years later, Esther finds herself once again tested by seas that stretch into the unknown as they quest to find the 7 lords. Each island reveals new trials: greed, fear, longing, and courage. Alongside Caspian, Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace, Esther faces not just physical dangers but the truth buried deep within her heart.

From the beginnings of her childhood to the edge of the world itself, Esther's journey is one of loss and belonging, of love and sacrifice, of learning that she is more than the girl who ran from a corrupt castle. She is her father's daughter, her mother's hope, and a soul shaped by Narnia itself, a soul Aslan has never once forgotten.
