Melanie's life is a living nightmare, one thing after another goes wrong. From the death of her father and uncle, to her mothers drinking problem. Everything seems to want her to give up, but, with the help of Connor, -the schools most wanted guy- she finds a way to overcome all the negative things, and look up to the sun. But clouds are on the horizon, will Mel make it out alive? Or end up like the rest of her family?
