11 parts Ongoing Fire.
That's what I think I remember of my home-
but even that flickers when I reach for it.
Was it really the blaze that stole everything,
or is it the magic twisting my memories into smoke and embers?
I try to recall the warmth,
the laughter that must have once filled our tiny village,
Mara's gentle hands guiding mine as if I were her own.
But those pieces slip away,
replaced by fire that feels too vivid to be real
and too distant to trust.
From those ashes, I rose...
or at least, that's the story everyone believes.
No longer the trembling girl who lost her world,
but the Princess of Moonhaven,
chosen by a queen who saw strength in me
before I ever felt it in myself.
They say I was destined for peace-
for light,
for hope,
for a future brighter than the ruins I came from.
But peace is a delicate thing.
Magic even more so.
And the same darkness that destroyed my village-
the one I think I remember-
is stirring again.
This time, inside me.
If I can't control it,
Moonhaven may burn just as my past did.
If it even burned at all.
Because the more the darkness rises,
the more I wonder:
Did I survive the flames?
Or was I shaped by the magic that's trying to consume me?
And if everything I remember is wrong...
how do I find the strength
to rise from ashes that may never have existed?
