Legacy Of The Mask: The Rise of Masqurade and Calavera

This is my first draft. I am still working on it, but I have a decent amount of chapters to keep posting. Hope you love the story as it progresses.

This story follows two heroes whose paths are destined to collide.

Masquerade is a seasoned, masked vigilante who has protected Los Angeles for three years. By day, she's a brilliant but weary detective. Her world is a constant grind of fighting crime and pursuing her own brand of justice.

Calavera is just a normal teenage girl starting at a new school and finally feeling like she fits in. Her life changes forever when she receives a mysterious necklace that unlocks the powers she's only ever dreamed of.

While Calavera is learning to control her newfound abilities and dreams of becoming a hero, Masquerade is on a high-stakes mission to take down a dangerous criminal organization known as Black Spire.

Their worlds collide when Calavera, in her eagerness, attempts to become Masquerade's sidekick. Masquerade, a fiercely independent hero who works alone, clashes with the stubborn, determined girl. The two heroes are on a collision course, and neither is willing to back down.
