Reece Everly is the town's book worm, she helps her older bother work his book shop and is constantly found reading under the large oak tree in the center of the small town. Reece has many memories with that tree, she broke her first bone when climbing that tree, she buried a time capsule under it with her best friend, she had her first kiss under that tree, she had her first heart break under the large oak tree.

Karson Graye is the town's new boy. He just moved to the lovely small town with his family. He's already making a reputation in this town, but not the best one. He's been a bit devious the couple of months he's been there. He had lived in that town once before, when he was a little kid, but he doesn't remember much. The things he does remember is the oak tree and the little girl under it.

Reece and Karson intersect paths one day as she's on her way to the tree after work and Karson is climbing it. What happens as these two's paths cross?
