Doctor Who: a new story

In the middle of a night that doesn't seem to belong to the real world, Edgar wakes up in a place suspended between dream and nightmare: a dark, silent environment, populated by faceless figures and floating lights that pulsate like alien hearts. He doesn't remember how he got there, but something called him - something that knows him.
His guide is an enigmatic woman, dressed in a long sand-colored coat, who simply introduces herself as Doctor. With a smile that hides secrets and a voice that knows too much, he leads him to an old abandoned train station, where they discover a fragment of glass suspended in the void. But it is not ordinary glass: it is liquid, alive, and reflects worlds that should not exist.
