The night burned with fire and screams. Zelda stood amidst the chaos, her voice trembling between command and prayer. Then-through the smoke-a figure emerged. Cloaked in black, his blade shone with the light of the dying moon. Each strike carried purpose, fury, and something deeper she couldn't name. He was no knight of Hyrule, yet he fought as though its fate were his own. When the flames dimmed, and the silence fell heavy as ash, Zelda caught a glimpse of his eyes-bright, haunted, and unbearably familiar. The Silent Queen
~Sequel to The Silent Princess~ Hyrule has been re-built, and Zelda is now Queen, but when the pressures of ruling Hyrule gets to her head, Link suggests that they take a trip around Hyrule to take her mind off things. A journey full of laughter and jokes is bound to cheer the young Queen up. As always, Nintendo owns the characters and places used. We know Link's story throughout all the games, but there are still many missing pieces that only the power of the goddess can bring to us. In the eyes of young Zelda, all will be revealed. The Silent Princess will speak with her wisdom of what she has seen over the span of the 100 years she has been fighting. *credit for characters, music, images, some dialogue, and other things I may use or quote from Nintendo belongs to them, not me. Zelda and Link have finally reunited after the Calamity, and there's a lot to do to restore Hyrlue to its former glory. On their adventures together, Link and Zelda get closer than they ever were before. Could this finally be the Zelink we've all been waiting for? So we all want Zelink to happen, don't we, so I made this short story just as a substitute until it really happens (probably never). Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < .
