Turning Red 2: Welcome to the Jungle

In this much-anticipated sequel, the Lees and Mei's friends take a 2 week-long vacation to China, where they visit the actual homeland of Sun Yee and other ancestors, only to discover that the Lees weren't the only family to pray to the spirits and gain supernatural forms. Many other families did the same and gained the form of a rat, tortoise, monkey, ox, bear, phoenix, dragon, you name it! They then discover a hidden city that's home to many other families, who are modern descendants of animal spirit holders, who have been ostracized from society so they created their own safe haven where they can not only be free and comfortable with their animal forms, but also use them to contribute to the community in a variety of ways.
