Cara had no choice but to put her life on hold at the age of fifteen when a zombie apocalypse broke out. Ten years later, she is brought out of her independent survival society from Pennsylvania, to a fully militarized New York City by none other than Reid Lowry, a man that was believed to be pure evil. Reid was in jail when the apocalypse broke out. With the chance to get out of what seemed like a permanent sentence, he would become a harsh soldier. Cara must find a way to escape Reid to achieve freedom.
