In their years of growing up in peace, tranquillity, and hard work, Natalie and her eleven minute older brother made it clear to their parents, and nearly every other Amity member, that they just did not belong. The abundance of roughhousing, name-calling and slight sibling rivalry gave their parents a good idea of which faction their children may choose when the time came. Luckily, over the years the two of them came together, and by the time they were just about seventeen and inseparable, their choosing day arrived. They choose the Warrior Faction in need of independence and thrill.
