Have you ever felt like all the bad luck in the world decided to hit you in a single day, and you've just had it with teachers, parents, or people who think they're hilarious but are really just loudmouths?
That's exactly what the character in my book is going through-only for them, it's more than a bad day; it's a lifelong pattern.
Luck has never been on their side, and fate has never been a friend.
Living day to day, they polish their kleptomaniac tendencies... until one day, they pick the wrong pocket.
It's only on the floor of the truck that takes them away that they realize: crossing the executive of the Port Mafia is a very, very bad idea.
Mori, the mafia boss, sees potential in the teenager and recruits them-much to the redhead's misfortune, who from the very start couldn't stand the bored, sarcastic attitude.
From that moment on, life in the Port Mafia becomes a 24-hour soap opera, thanks to this bickering duo, constantly kept apart by the other members.
The question is: will the tension between them remain the same?
And if it dissolves... what will make it happen?
A few words about Gabi the maincharacter:
The teenager hasn't been who they appears to be for a long time... The others see them as a cool, slightly lazy, secretive guy who likes to tease his superiors-but Chuuya is starting to realize there's much more beneath the surface.
Gabi doesn't even suspect that their pitch-black past, before ending up on the streets, is coming back for them-and if they're not careful, it will drain the last bit of will to live from them.
Will their comrades be able to save them from something even they doesn't fully understand?
"Not bl. Better than that 😉"
