True Colors

What if you lived in a world where everyone's, including your own, eyes changed color based on their current emotions? Where every different color meant a different emotion or combination? You would have no control over what your eyes showed the world, and it wouldn't be very easy to keep secrets. For some people this isn't a very big issue, for others it's a nightmare.
For Mia, it's a huge understatement to say her color changing eyes are her least favorite feature. She'd give almost anything get them under her control. When she thinks she finds a solution, it's the greatest day of her life. The only problem?
