Tristan Parker was always looked up to. Everyone at school envied her. The girls wanted to be her. The boys wanted to be with her. She had the life anyone would dream of, so they thought. Her mother a raging alcoholic, her father always away on business. Her brother, Hayden, her only piece of sanity, even though he had recently moved out to be away from their parents. They had ruined his life and he needed to end it. Despite the constant fear they bestowed in Tristan, she loved her parents and she didn't want to leave them until she had to. For some odd reason, she felt safe there, even though they constantly have her pain; mental and physical. Tristan never let anyone know what was really happening in her life.
