She was told that her mother died in child birth and is forced to do wrong at the hands of HYDRA. Natasha Romanoff was told her daughter died in birth and lived to tell the tale that she was never supposed to keep the child, it was destiny that the child died. Bucky Barnes was told nothing, just that this girl is his child and he must fix her.
