It's been a millennium since Runa made her decision, since she has last spoken to or seen Freya. Despite her best efforts, it seemed as though her goddess has forsaken her. Runa knew the decision she made was questionable, but it was intended to benefit both her and Freya. Aldríkr knew Runa's true intentions and preyed on the love, the devotion. For years and years he has used Runa to do his dirty work down on earth while her time wastes away. How was she supposed to know it was all a trap?

It was supposed to be an ordinary, peaceful day. All she wanted was to relax, grow a bit, maybe soak up some sun-nothing crazy after dealing with the past. It was her way to become a goddess. There were many memories and adventure that she went through but she felt it was time for retirement. But no, of course, fate had other plans. Instead of lounging around, she found herself to be hunted. Apparently, some ancient godly decree said humans had to be spared... which she found incredibly inconvenient. Stumbling upon many people who live and die over time. Until... Enter a tiny snake, full of righteous fury. "I want to kill all of you humans so much!" She hissed, shaking her little tail in frustration. She was currently trapped in the hands of a man whose eyes glowed with an unnatural light. He simply stared down at her, entirely unfazed by her threats. It was strange though that he had an odd scent on himself. "You want my deadly bite!" She added, her voice full of venom. Instead of trembling in fear like any reasonable person would, the man just looked... amused. Great. Out of all the humans, she had to get stuck with this guy who was still oddly strange.
