People think destruction comes from poor choices. They are wrong.

There are codes in wait to be discovered symbols, numerals, and letters with import, yet power.
Whisper them, and somebody's secrets will be revealed.
Write them, and reputations will fall.
Apply them, and lives will vanish.".

For centuries, they have been manipulated by a hidden ring of manipulators, puppeteers who pull at the strings of governments, corporations, even justice itself. No one dares to mess with them because no one lives after the secret has been cracked.

I wasn't supposed to find out. I wasn't supposed to be reading it.
But the moment that very first symbol lit up in front of me, everything changed.
