She wasn't supposed to survive.

When the experimental reactor tore her world apart, all that remained was a frightened girl with strange blue light burning in her veins. No name. No family. Just questions, and power that bends reality itself.

Tony Stark didn't mean to find her. He didn't mean to care. But guilt is hard to ignore when the child left behind might be the product of someone's ambition, and his mistake.

Because her powers are growing. Her nightmares are warnings. And somewhere in the shadows, the truth about what she is, and what she was created for, is waiting.

She isn't a weapon.
She isn't a miracle.
She's the singularity's child.

32 parts Complete Mature
Being the only child of Tony Stark, Freya was kept out of the spotlight so that she might live a semi-normal life. Unfortunately, how she became Tony Stark's daughter is the main reason why she will never have anything near a semi-normal life. Having been sent to Earth at age seven for her own safety by an unknown source, she has no memory of her life before she landed on Midgard. Tony, accompanied by Happy, happened to be the one who found her and immediately felt like it was his responsibility to take care of her. So, he adopts her and loves her like she's his own flesh and blood. Tony watches her grow into a strong, beautiful, fierce woman, whose intelligence might even surpass his own. If magically appearing in a beam of light from space wasn't crazy enough, Freya eventually began to develop abilities as she got older. The physical manifestation of specific abilities ended up being silver in color. Resulting in Tony giving her the nickname "Mercury." Which was quickly shortened to "Merky." Tony always hoped she would lead a normal life after reaching adulthood. From his perspective, she was. Instead, she was actually recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. not long after her sixteenth birthday by Nick Fury. Who had been watching her from a distance for nine long years. She's transformed into a ruthless assassin and becomes a force to be reckoned with. Unbreakable bonds with two fellow teammates are also forged in the process. But, what will happen when a series of unimaginable events reveals her origin and gruesome past? Who will she trust? Who will trust her? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Steve Rogers x OC (Stark) (The Avengers - CATWS) **Book one in the Mercury Series** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING MARVEL OR DISNEY RELATED!! I only own my original character, Freya Stark/Mercury. Some bits of the story might be changed, but I will stay as true to the movies as I can. Rated mature for language and violence. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Silent Resilience- MCU

33 parts Complete

Rebecca had never known freedom. Taken by Hydra as a child, she was molded into something they could use-until she escaped. Found by Clint Barton and brought to the Avengers Tower, she was given something she never expected: safety, a home, and people who genuinely cared. But adjusting wasn't easy. Silence had been her shield for so long that speaking felt impossible. Through small steps and unwavering patience, the Avengers became her family-Clint, Natasha, Wanda, Tony, and the others each helping her heal in their own way. School was another challenge, but with new friends like Peter, Ned, and MJ, she began to find her place. Just when she started to feel safe, Hydra came for her again, dragging her back into the nightmare she had barely escaped. Rescued just in time, Rebecca had to rebuild herself once more. This time, she wasn't alone. And when Clint and Laura Barton made the choice to adopt her, giving her a real family, she knew she finally belonged. Moving to the Barton farm was a fresh start-one filled with love, laughter, and healing. Her past would always be a part of her, but it no longer defined her. Rebecca wasn't just surviving anymore. She was living. disclaimer: I do not own the MCU. I only own Rebecca and her storyline.
