Unfortunately for him, he has chosen one of the last angels on Earth who truly loves humans and assigned her to watch over the most human feeling half demons she has ever met.

Eventually this ultimately came to and end then the two brothers were set straight by Nero, Vergil's son and they put their differences and rivarly aside to stop the tree for good. Eventually they have gotten their fill and decided to leave with the help of Vergil's Yamato but this didn't go as planned as they were sent to a new universe entirely.
