Frank's POV:

I was in the nursery with Jamia while she worked on feeding the twins. Melody was playing in the corner with some dolls.

Jamia and I were talking a little before there was a knock at the front door.

Gerard called out saying he'd get it as the door opened a few seconds later.

"Here, you take Melody and go hang out with Gerard for a little bit. I'll finish up with the twins and put them down for a nap." Jamia said.

I nodded and called Melody over before picking her up and taking her out of the room, closing the door quietly, and walking down the stairs.

"Hey Gee, who's here-" I asked, but froze once I saw Mikey standing at the door, his face was red and blotchy and his eyes were wide with tears.

"I dumped Pete." he whispered.
