When a young solider, Katherine Blackwell, is determined to join the military as an adult; following in the footsteps by her older brother... She knew it wouldn't be easy. However, nothing could have prepared her for knowing that barely a year and a half into her service, it quickly turned her world upside-down. She was thrown into another unit where she faced the same judgement she had grown familiar with. The cause of her disdain? Revenant, a thirty one year old solider that is persistent in only seeing her as an immediate liability. Trying relentlessly to get her re-assigned as soon as her file hit his desk from his Captain. When he is forced to train her, he slowly discovers that their pasts may have more in common than he wished. He is hit with the reality that he is responsible for her life. Yet, he doesn't know if he can handle it, due to his unresolved past. As Revenant's hatred simmers extremely slowly for Katherine, realizing that her scars mirror his own. Ironically, when shit hits the fan- they are forced to depend on one another. Could their clashing parallel personalities be the one thing they can't seem to work around? Or could they put their differences aside when it mattered most.
