Letting Mercy Reign

“I promise we can make this work. I will not let anything or anyone come in between us if you just give me a chance to prove it to you. Please just give me that chance.” He begged.
I stared into his pleading eyes and I knew he wouldn’t hurt me like those in my past. What I didn’t know was that by taking a chance on him my entire life would be turned upside down.
Mercy Lewis was the oldest of her siblings. Over time she had given up on her dream of finding Mr. Right and focused on mending her shattered heart and mind. As well as she decided to dedicate her free time to taking care of her siblings and to her school work rather than go out with her friends and date.
She decided that dating wasn’t worth the pain she always felt when it ended. So when the unexpected happens she tries her hardest to resist falling for Tobias Westcott.
Tobias Westcott has his own demons to deal with as well. As a middle child but he has the most responsibility. He is the man of the house since he lost his father and broke of ties with that side. He takes care of the house while his mother is gone and cares for his younger sister. On the outside you can’t see the turmoil that is running through him. He gave up on love after a horrendous breakup and vows to be single forever and focus on his family and his job. But when he runs into Mercy he wants to show her there are good guys out there.
