would have wanted this film to be part of the phase 1 slate as it was Originally intended to be with it probably releasing
sometime between the Incredible Hulk and The First Avenger Alongside Ironman 2 and Thor
Instead of centering around Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne with side characters like Cassie and and Scott's criminal friends, Would want Ant-Man to follow a me Hank Pym (Ewan McGregor) and Janet (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)where the movie is set within the present day alongside The Rest of The MCU Cast as Opposed to the 6Os
as we follow Hank's into the titular character. The main villain would not be Darren Cross as Yellow Jacket, but someone else. candidate is Egghead,
although he's not my definitive choice. Out of all the original Ant-Man villains, he just seems like most fitting for the grounded direction.
And they did use him in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
So, it's possible he might have been chosen anyway had Hank been the lead. The movie itself, I could still see being somewhat of a heist movie,
however, not as comedic.

DISCLAIMER- This was the first book I ever wrote and my writing style has changed MUCH since this was published. Like, so much that it's actually kind of ridiculous... This takes place in 2018 after the events of Ant-Man and The Wasp. But things are different. They weren't able to save Janet and they don't live in San Fransico. They live in New York. And Civil War hasn't happened yet. Scott was on house arrest for a different reason. Scott and Hope have an interesting relationship. They are secretly dating, and no one knows, not even Cassie or Hank. But what happens when Hope suffers heartbreak because Scott disappears? When part of the Avengers are thrown back in time find the Soul Stone, they encounter the wild truth about the what was SHIELD. A woman in a red dress takes them hostage, and their only hope is to be saved by Agent Carter and Howard and Maria Stark. During all of this, Thanos has followed them back, hoping to get into the Infinity Stone before anyone else, even if this means death. Legally, I do not own any of the characters or whatever. Note: I will state now that it will not all be correct, and in some aspects, I am glossing over things as well as rewriting events. I am focusing more on the movies and a little on "Agents of Shield." I do not mean to do this entirely, however to further the plot, it was necessary. I hope you can understand. Also, obviously, this does not follow "Infinity Wars" plot because it was written and published before "Infinity Wars" came out. This will written because I was sick and tired of Maria Stark having no backstory and was constantly there to further the plot points of males around her, in the comics and in the movies.
