would have wanted this film to be part of the phase 1 slate as it was Originally intended to be with it probably releasing
sometime between the Incredible Hulk and The First Avenger Alongside Ironman 2 and Thor
Instead of centering around Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne with side characters like Cassie and and Scott's criminal friends, Would want Ant-Man to follow a me Hank Pym (Ewan McGregor) and Janet (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)where the movie is set within the present day alongside The Rest of The MCU Cast as Opposed to the 6Os
as we follow Hank's into the titular character. The main villain would not be Darren Cross as Yellow Jacket, but someone else. candidate is Egghead,
although he's not my definitive choice. Out of all the original Ant-Man villains, he just seems like most fitting for the grounded direction.
And they did use him in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
So, it's possible he might have been chosen anyway had Hank been the lead. The movie itself, I could still see being somewhat of a heist movie,
however, not as comedic.
