When a person is born their soul is split and given to the person that they were perfectly made for and a tattoo is assigned to you on your 18th birthday, the tattoo was always some sort of symbol that would represent them. Over the years many ways of finding your soulmate have been developed. The government had developed a scanner that would give better hints for people to find their soulmate faster, like what nationality they were, what part of the world they were in and even get the initials of their soulmate if they were lucky. Many of the population could not afford being able to use the scanner and preferred to find their soulmate the old fashioned way.
