Demons and evil spirits control the world. People are possessed, crime is the new norm, and evil spirits allied with Satan himself run rampant. Dain is a criminal turned knight, tasked with slaying demons to rid the world of their rule through the powers God, the king of kings, granted him. He's served many years in good faith.
When Dain meets his beautiful wife, he decides to settle down and retire from the sword to raise a family. The Church allows it and everything goes well, for a time.
When tragedy strikes Dain's family, he is forced to pick the sword up once again. Revenge and pure rage drives him to kill any demon in his path to get to the one that has wronged him. He will rip apart the world these beasts have stolen from the people, the ones created in God's image, and have tainted and ruined. He will set things right once and for all.
