Elizabeth Sawyer and Tom Holland were inseparable as kids, spending every day together with their best friends Natalie James and Cole Walter. But by middle school, things shifted-they drifted apart, found different crowds, and stopped talking.

Now, years later, fate throws them back together in their English class when they're paired for a major project: to creatively introduce one another to the class through a video, collage, song, or any medium that captures who their partner truly is.

What begins as an awkward reunion quickly stirs up old memories, buried feelings, and the spark of something new. As Tom and Liz rediscover who they are-and who they were to each other-he starts calling her Lizzie again, a small reminder of the bond they once shared.

With senior year ticking away and the future on the horizon, they both realize that, sometimes, everything has changed... and yet, some things never really do.
