On her eighteenth birthday, Gemma Lawson expects the Moon Goddess to bless her with the greatest gift of all-a fated mate.

When her bond is revealed, she discovers the truth every wolf dreams of: her mate is none other than her Alpha, Kieran Blackthorn.

But joy shatters into agony when he rejects her for another, breaking both the bond and her heart.

Shunned and hollow, Gemma hides her pain, certain the Goddess has forsaken her.

Until fate strikes again.

When a visiting Alpha from a powerful neighboring pack arrives to secure an alliance, a single touch ignites a bond she thought she'd lost forever. Ethan Whitlock is steady, protective, and everything she never believed she could have again.

Now, torn between the scars of rejection and the promise of a second chance, Gemma must find the courage to claim the future she was destined for. But with her old Alpha drowning in regret and her new mate bound by duty, the path to happiness is anything but simple.

A story of heartbreak, healing, and the power of second chances under the light of the moon.

I wanted to ask; are you the one who is making these new designs? Giving them finishing touches?", he asked pointing to the paperwork on his table. I didn't know why, but my throat had gone dry. So, I just nodded. He got closer to me and instinctively, I took steps away from him. Soon, he had closed the slightly ajar door and I was trapped between him and the door. We were so close that I could feel his breath near my neck. Slowly, he whispered into my ear, "What did you think, I would have forgotten you, Emerson? Do you think this is all a game?" I gulped. That was enough to confirm that he had definitely recognized me. I fake frowned and stuttered while trying to find the doorknob, "I...uh...I...I don't understand what you are talking about.....I...I...I think I should go." I finally found the doorknob, opened the door and practically ran out but, not before hearing him say, "If this is a game, so be it. Let the games begin." ____________________ Emma had only three goals since she was ten: grow mature, study hard and become independent.
