Awakening after a harsh conflict, two entities of extreme power rise to once again battle over the realm of man. Their confrontation would be a harsh one, to render the earth a smoking ruin. However, nine people, thrust together by powers beyond them and beyond even the foes arming themselves for one great battle once more, must work together to end the conflict before it can result in the destruction of the planet be it through peace or through war; leaving the ultimate question for them to follow: can they succeed? And, if they do succeed, what is the cost?

Behind the Dark
The breaking of worlds is much louder than one might think. While in all natural senses it is nearly silent; no birds flying about and singing their songs, no noises from the heavy traffic mere feet away from where I stand, no airplanes cutting seams into the otherwise-perfect blue sky, my ears ring with the deafening roar only I seem to hear. As if made of glass, the atmosphere shatters and rips apart, plunging me into a realm of ice-cold, pitch black darkness.
