Finding My Thorns

As far as everyone at Hogwarts knows, Rose Granger-Weasley is the model student. Not only is she top of her class (and let's face it, probably top of the school), she's also a star Quidditch player, a prefect, and the most likely candidate for Head Girl next year. On the outside, Rose is perfect.
What they don't know is that Rose has a secret. A dark secret. A secret so terrible and powerful that it could ruin the beloved ginger of the Golden Trio. Ronald Weasley, her abusive, controlling father. All Rose wants is to make him proud of her, but no matter how high her grades, how many goals she scores, and how perfect she is, it's never enough for him, simply because she was sorted into Ravenclaw, not Gryffindor. And the fact that one of her best friends is a Slytherin. And of course there is Scorpius, but he's a whole other problem.
After a series of devastating events as she transitions into her sixth year at Hogwarts, Rose finally finds herself with the opportunity to break away from her father's oppression. But after years of enduring her father, the road to self-liberation and rediscovery is going to be a lot harder than she thinks.
