After Katherine Beckett met Richard Castle at the Old Haunt at the age of nineteen, their lives were turned upside down. Now, the two are expecting a baby boy in three months, and are raising his daughter, Alexis together. Things for them have never been better.

As they go through the motions of her pregnancy, as they watch their son grow and begin to prepare for their future together, they each dance around the idea of marriage, commitment, and whether or not they are truly ready to raise their child together. Laughter, tears, and sweet moment are to be expected, but the rest they could have never imagined.
