A Sniper in a God Forsaken World
It was cold. Very cold. 'How did I get here?' I pondered over and over. Here I was, surrounded by an endless sea of snow covered trees. All around me, I could see layers among layers of snow. I lay there, staring up into the sky, wondering what had just happened. I had died. Or at least, I thought I died. Synopsis: A 34 year old soldier Simo Shephard dies while in active combat, yet instead of waking up at the pearly gates, he wakes up in a different kind of hell. Read as he survives in a world of animal hybrids known as chimeras, and as he tries his best to aid humanity as they dwindle ever closer to a silent extinction. Will he succeed in making a foothold for humanity? Will he change the tyrannical ways of the world? Or will he fail, leaving the fate of humanity to the chimeras. A/N This is the first story I have ever written. I am dumbfounded that people have found this story good enough to read, so thank you to all the readers! Red Glass crunches underfoot. The air tastes like coins. Along the Far Western Front, the Calm-Breath Gas Corps arrive in lacquered Quiet-Plate-kettle visors lit like coins, shoulder bellows whispering cold-blue dust into a humming regulator-and the battlefield holds its breath. Rann Vex counts steps so he won't die on the same number he started. Sava Half-River, cut clean at the ford, learns to breathe through her back and lead amputee dragoons under sightlines. A field coroner salts memory into ledgers while Warpriest Hallen ends screams with nails and ash. GLADIUS-III, a Brass Philosopher, argues with artillery until the math agrees to die. Across the line, the Mews sing leaders out of their names with wire and bells; the Hatchling Corp answers in hush-pistol arithmetic. Above them all, sniper Elira Coil winds her brass lung to eleven and hunts the Eleven-Star General by the click in his new porcelain jaw. This is grimdark low-fantasy of trenches, chainbeasts, hymn-filters and small, exact mercies-where logistics become liturgy, stillness is a weapon, and the only law the ford writes is: breathe later.Complete
Changing Times | A Human x Anthro story
As time passed, things changed. With the change, pain followed. This is a story of a man locked in the past full of teaching that he found to be flawed. Join Cael Adrian, a soldier that was apart of the North American Resistance Army, a group of freedom fighters who once tried to save the husk of a nation from an invading force, only to learn that they were behind on information. This story was greatly inspired by works like The Swan Song and A Man In A Beasts World. As will be mentioned in the foreword chapter, I am not a furry, though I have many friends who are. There will be many references in this story, most will be from works such as Call Of Duty, Escape From Tarkov, and STALKER, though there will be other references spread throughout. There will also be characters seen that are NOT owned by me, but rather are original characters made by friends of mine.
