-Willow or "Nokose" is not only the star basketball player at Kota High, but she's also the biggest trouble maker around. Constantly running around in the small town of Kota, Oklahoma with her best friend James causing trouble everywhere they go.
-Nova, sister of James, is cheer captain at Kota High. She loves cheer, partying, and spending time with her friends and family.
- Willow and Nova are always bickering and constantly flirting with each other without knowing but little does Nova know that Willow has been crushing since they were kids. And when a new kid moved to town making Nova swoon, Willow couldn't just wait around anymore. She needed to make it known.
Nokose (nuh-go-zee) means "Bear" in the mvskoke/creek language.
